ROGERS AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS COMMUNITY INFORMATION

Rogers is located within Benton county, Arkansas. Nestled in the Ozark mountains, Rogers is a part of the Northwest Arkansas community. In fact, Northwest Arkansas is one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. However, Rogers still remains a relatively small community of 66,344 residents – making it the best of both worlds. It was the home of one of the very first Walmart locations, and on top of that Daisy Outdoor Products has both its headquarters and Air Gun Museum there. Since 2007, the town has hosted the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, a woman’s professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. It is also the host of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the largest and best-funded breast cancer organization in the United States.

The city is home to around 24 parks. These include a splash park, a bike park, a skateboard park, 26 athletic fields, and over 70 miles of Greenways and Trails Systems. Athletes of all ages come to Rogers to compete in sports like soccer, softball, football, volleyball, lacrosse, basketball, tennis and wrestling. Rogers Aquatic Center is one of the most popular parks, with many outdoor pools and waterslides. Additionally, Rogers has one of the largest cavern systems in all of Arkansas.

Every Saturday, Downtown Rogers holds a Farmer’s Market. You can buy fresh vegetables and fruits from local farmers and support small businesses in the community. For over 30 years, Rogers has held the Frisco Festival during August. Even during the winter holiday season there are wonderful activities like tree lighting ceremonies and festivals downtown. No matter what time of year you visit Rogers, there will always be fun things to do.
